Edit the intended existing fields
A multiline field accepts paragraphs, while a single-line field does not allow line breaks. Each field's maximum text length is shown. Linked fields with the same name receive the same value, including copies on different pages. Check repeated details such as a name or customer number throughout the output rather than inspecting only the first occurrence.
Respect the form's limitations
Existing text fields and checkboxes are supported in documents containing no more than 200 fields. Read-only fields, unsupported field types and existing values that are too long remain locked. A scanned page alone is not an interactive form; use Add text where appropriate instead. Your original file is preserved. If the finished entries should no longer be editable as individual fields, create an additional flattened copy afterward.
Frequently asked questions
Can I fill any scanned form directly?
This tool needs existing interactive fields. Place text on a scanned template instead; OCR alone does not create form fields.
Can I keep editing the form afterward?
Supported fields remain interactive in the filled PDF. Review their appearance and the form issuer's requirements before using the document.
