PDF alternatives: choose by the task

A quick text correction, an offline workflow and a signature request need different tools. Start with your task, then check the product and plan that actually cover it.

Selected relevant PDF providers, listed alphabetically. This is not a complete market inventory or a best-to-worst ranking.

When easyPDF24 is worth trying

For a focused edit in the browser, try a representative file in the preview first. You can select a tool or describe the requested change in chat. Check text, placement and affected pages before applying the change and choosing paid download access.

Our limits belong in the comparison

The standard PDF upload accepts up to 25 MB and 80 pages. OCR currently recognises German and English printed text, with a limit of 10 pages. Conversion, OCR and AI suggestions can contain errors. An inserted visible signature is not a qualified electronic signature. Result files expire after 30 minutes; save your own copy.

Check your document before switching

Try an authorised, non-sensitive sample with the layout you normally use. Compare the exported text, fonts, page order and selectable content. If you need offline processing, team administration or a particular signature process, verify those requirements for the specific product and plan before purchasing.
