How it works
Select a single supported still image.
Choose the output format, quality and a smaller maximum edge length if needed.
Download the new image and inspect its background, colours and fine details.

Choose the output format deliberately
JPG and WebP use the selected quality level. PNG is saved losslessly, so its compression does not respond to the quality setting in the same way. Transparent areas become white when exported to JPG. A smaller maximum edge reduces the image proportionally; it does not enlarge a small source artificially.
Consider frames and image metadata
Supported inputs include JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP and single-frame TIFF or GIF files. HEIC/HEIF requires the server decoder to be available. Animated and multipage images are rejected explicitly so that extra frames are not silently discarded. Processing applies EXIF orientation, converts supported colour profiles to sRGB and does not copy private image metadata into the output. Keep your original if you need those source details later.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my transparent logo get a white background?
JPG does not support transparency. Choose PNG or WebP when you need a transparent background.
Will my original image be overwritten?
You download a new output file. Keep the original for further editing and its original metadata.
