Useful next steps

Edit a PDF: text, images and annotationsEdit PDF text, add images and mark up pages. Review your changes in the easyPDF24 preview before applying them.
Password-protect a PDF before passing it onCreate a PDF that requires a password to open. Set a password of 6–40 characters, download the protected copy and test it in a PDF viewer.
Compress a PDF and check the file sizeOptimize the structure of a PDF without deliberately lowering image resolution. The size reduction depends on the original file.
Fill existing PDF text fields and checkboxesFill a PDF's existing text fields and checkboxes. Linked fields are synchronized; review their values and appearance in the new document.

Finish the form before fixing its appearance

Use this step after the final content correction. Check names, dates and selected checkboxes in the original form. Once flattened, the previous input fields are gone. Further corrections require the editable source or another editing method. Keep a completed editable version as well if you expect to prepare revised copies later.

Appearance and interactivity are different

The output incorporates the visible appearance into page content. Form actions, separately editable annotations and their comment metadata are lost. The result does not guarantee protection from further PDF editing and does not replace a digital signature. Open the new file in a PDF viewer to check long entries, unusual fonts and any appearance that matters to the recipient.

Frequently asked questions

Will completed values remain visible?

Their visible appearance is flattened into the pages. Still check every important field in the result.

Can I fill in the flattened form again?

Its original interactive fields are no longer available. Use a saved editable version for that purpose.
