How it works
Open a still image and start from the neutral value of 1 for each setting.
Change the required values between 0 and 3 and choose the output format and dimensions.
Inspect the result for readable details, lost highlights and harsh outlines.
Input, result and limits
| Property | Details |
|---|---|
| Input | JPG / PNG / WebP / HEIC |
| Output | JPG / PNG / WebP |
| Important limitation | Conventional image correction; no AI reconstruction of missing details. |

Small adjustments are easier to evaluate
For a dark document photo, try slightly increasing brightness first. Then check whether extra contrast improves the words or makes faint lines disappear. Additional sharpening can emphasise edges but also produce visible halos. Large changes to several settings at once make it harder to identify which adjustment actually helped the result.
Work with the information already in the image
The tool uses conventional image corrections. It does not reconstruct unreadable letters, restore missing focus or generate new details with AI. A fresh photograph is often more useful for a badly blurred receipt. For further document work, combine the corrected image into a PDF or use the scanner to adjust its perspective. Check important numbers against the source rather than trusting a sharper-looking edge.
Frequently asked questions
Which value leaves a setting unchanged?
The neutral value is 1. Smaller and larger values reduce or increase the respective property.
Can the tool restore lost text?
It can change existing contrasts, but it cannot reliably recover missing image information. Verify important wording against the original.
